Joints of Luschka (Uncovertebral joints)

The joints of Luschka are small joints in the cervical spine, located between the vertebral bodies.

 They help stabilize neck movement but are prone to degeneration over time. When affected, they can cause neck pain, stiffness, or nerve compression leading to radiating arm pain. These joints are an important source of cervical pain and a target for diagnostic imaging and interventional procedures.
